Viaflo Donates pipettors to local high school AP Science Program:
Thanks to overwhelming customer participation in Viaflo's pipettor trade-in initiative we have been able to support a New Hampshire high school, AP science program. Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH is the first to receive used pipettors which will be used by students in the 2008/2009 school year. Pinkerton is a private non-profit corporation founded in 1814. The donated pipettors have been sent to Viaflo by researchers around the US. An ongoing pipettor trade-in program allows any research organization to receive either a $50 or $100 credit towards the purchase of Viaflo's new Vision electronic pipettor(s) in return for sending in any working manual or electronic pipettor. Viaflo continues to seek opportunities to sponsor local educational programs with more product donations. We hope our customers feel good about their old pipettors being put to good use.

Viaflo’s VISION® Pipettor receives the ALA New Product Award in Palm Springs, CA.
On January 30, 2008 at the Association for Lab Automation show in Palm Springs, CA, Viaflo Corporation was one of three companies honored as a recipient of the ALA New Product Innovation Award. This award was given to the most innovative products on the show floor. Over (50) new products were considered and judged. For consideration, products must have been commercially available for sale within the last (12) months and had to exhibit innovative and beneficial features to the life science community. Viaflo considers the ALA Innovation award especially gratifying considering that VISION hand-held pipettors are technically not automation-type products. “This gives significant merit to the capability and innovation of our Vision pipettor concept” says Marc Hamel Director of Marketing at Viaflo. The ALA award also echoes the comments received from researchers around the world. Vision pipettors have certainly captivated the life science community and continue to revolutionize pipetting. Viaflo has a steady pipeline of equally innovative products scheduled to launch later this year and well into 2009 and continues to channel its imagination into innovative solutions in liquid handling. Stay tuned for more…

November 2007
Neuroscience Convention-San Diego--November 4th-7th
Viaflo's first international show, The Society of Neuroscience Conference and Exhibit in San Diego CA was a huge and gratifying success. Our unusually impressive island booth was well manned by the Viaflo Marketing and Sales team and inundated with visitors from open to close all four days of the Convention. On display were the Statprep electronic bellows pump sample processor, the Vision pipetting systems, and our complete line of consumable reagent reservoirs and pipet tips. Most of the buzz centered around the Vision single and multi-channel pipettors and was remarkable in both quantity and exuberance. Comments overheard ran the gamut from "Wow" to "This makes pipetting fun!" to "This answers every question I can think of." Pricing became an interesting guessing game with most far north of reality. The smiles generated by the elegance and simplicity of the Vision's user interface impressed everyone. We look forward to a repeat performance in Washington DC at Cell Biology December 2nd through the 4th. Please stop by Booths 1331 & 1333 and let us know what you think of these revolutionary pipettors.
September 2007
Due to the unprecedented growth taking place at Viaflo, the company has expanded operations into a larger facility located in Hudson, New Hampshire. This location will accommodate all aspects of Viaflo, including sales, marketing, engineering, quality control, and manufacturing as well as warehousing.
Viaflo adapts its proprietary disposable Tri-lobe tip to the StatPrep, adding to the device's flexibility. Now non-contact pipetting is enabled with the added benefit of eliminating sample carryover. The device can function in two modes; fluid filled with a reusable probe or as an air displacement pipettor using disposable tips.
